PT SUCOFINDO provides testing services for various products, including printers, televisions, soundbars, routers, air purifiers, amplifiers, desktop PCs, photocopiers, switches or hubs, and other information technology products.
Testing is conducted with reference to the SNI IEC 60950-1:2016 standard from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, as stated in the available service information.
Scope of Information Technology Equipment Safety Testing
Information technology equipment safety testing evaluates product compliance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.
Testing parameters include:
Protection against electric shock.
Protection against mechanical hazards and fire.
Measurement of electrical power and current.
Measurement of temperature rise.
Normal and abnormal operating tests.
Other testing parameters.
Medical Equipment and Information Technology Testing
PT SUCOFINDO also provides testing for medical equipment and information technology products, such as computers, laptops, video game players, and similar products. These tests address safety and performance requirements in accordance with mandatory SNI regulations and IEC standards for product certification.
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Testing
PT SUCOFINDO conducts Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing on electrical and electronic products with reference to IEC, EN, FCC, CISPR, and other standards listed in the available service information.
EMC testing also evaluates a product’s ability to withstand external electromagnetic disturbances.
EMC testing parameters include:
1. EMC Emission Testing
Testing to measure electromagnetic interference (EMI) emitted by electrical and electronic equipment and products, whether operating independently or as part of a system. This includes Emission Conducted Testing and Emission Radiation Testing.
2. EMC Immunity Testing
Testing to measure the ability of equipment or electrical products to withstand electromagnetic disturbances. This includes the Electric Fast Transient/Burst Test, Electrostatic Discharge, and Surge Immunity Test.
