Jakarta, September 3, 2026 – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting sustainability through strategic cross-sector collaboration. This commitment is demonstrated through its support for quality improvement, environmental compliance, and governance, in line with PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s role as a state-owned enterprise operating in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC).
This commitment was recognized at the Indonesia Property & Bank Award XX 2026, where SUCOFINDO received an award in the Business & Association Proponent of Property Industry category, named Indonesia’s Best Strategic Partner in Industrial Standardization and Sustainable Village Clean Water Initiative 2026 (August 28).
Attending the event, Indonesia’s Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas, Maruarar Sirait, stated that efforts to build a better Indonesia must include equitable economic development while maintaining public and government trust.
“To achieve equitable economic development and fulfill our responsibilities to Indonesia, we need collective hard work, honesty, and a commitment to maintaining our reputation as we work toward a healthier system,” said Maruarar Sirait.
The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas emphasized the importance of government partners in maintaining public trust and upholding quality through the implementation of checks and balances at every level of work.
He further expressed his hope that PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) would continue to strengthen collaboration, become part of the national housing ecosystem, and deliver added value and meaningful contributions to Indonesian society.
“Hopefully, moving forward, we can build strong synergies, add value to what we have achieved together, and enable SUCOFINDO to become part of the housing ecosystem that we have built together,” Maruarar Sirait explained.
In line with these expectations, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) President Director Sandry Pasambuna, who attended the event to receive the Indonesia’s Best Strategic Partner in Industrial Standardization and Sustainable Village Clean Water Initiative 2026 award, stated that sustainability is an important part of the company’s journey and growth.
According to Sandry, corporate growth should not be measured solely by business achievements, but also by a company’s ability to deliver tangible and sustainable benefits to society and stakeholders.
“Collaboration with the government, partners, communities, and all stakeholders is key to creating a broader impact. Therefore, this award is not only a source of pride for SUCOFINDO but also an encouragement for us to continue increasing our contributions and conducting our business responsibly and sustainably,” said Sandry Pasambuna.
One example of this cross-sector collaboration is PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s partnership with ABPEDNAS to construct clean-water bore wells at 70 locations across Indonesia. This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to help meet communities’ basic needs while expanding access to clean water.
“We also pursue our sustainability commitment through SUCOFINDO’s role as a Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company. With our expertise and services, SUCOFINDO continues to support various industrial sectors in improving quality, complying with environmental regulations, strengthening governance, and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles,” said Sandry Pasambuna.
Sandry further emphasized that PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) would continue to uphold integrity and professionalism in every aspect of its operations while fostering collaboration with various parties to deliver solutions that benefit Indonesia.
“Moving forward, we want to ensure that every step taken by SUCOFINDO remains grounded in integrity and professionalism. At the same time, we remain open to continued collaboration with various parties to develop sustainable solutions for Indonesia,” Sandry Pasambuna stated.
On the same occasion, Nuri Hidayat, Head of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Unit at PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), explained that the bore-well construction initiative represents a tangible expression of the company’s commitment to delivering benefits that communities can experience directly.
“This bore-well construction collaboration demonstrates our commitment to creating benefits that can be felt directly by communities. Clean water is a basic necessity closely linked to public health, well-being, and productivity,” said Nuri Hidayat.
According to Nuri, the program also contributes to PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation.
“For us, sustainability is not simply about building a facility, but also about ensuring that the facility meets community needs and provides long-term benefits. Through collaboration with various parties, we want to ensure that our Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs deliver appropriate solutions, create tangible impacts, and generate value for communities,” Nuri Hidayat concluded.
